Care & Maintenance

Four Tips on Maintenance

1. Protect from Extreme Heat

High heat will leave marks

Even though epoxy resin is highly resilient, it is not heatproof. To prevent permanent heat stains or surface wear, never place hot cookware or heat-generating appliances directly onto the resin. Always use trivets, hot pads, or coasters to maintain its pristine, clear finish.

2. Prevent Scratches

Epoxy can still scratch

Epoxy handles daily wear well, but it isn't 100% scratch-resistant. Keep its glossy finish intact by never sliding rough, heavy, or sharp items across it. Simply lift and place your metalware, ceramics, and decorations to prevent scuff marks.

3. Clean with Care

Keep it clear and glossy

4. Minimize Direct Sunlight

Sunlight yellows resin

While epoxy resin is beautiful, long-term exposure to direct sunlight can cause it to slightly yellow over time. To keep the colors vibrant and the resin clear, position your table out of direct UV light, or use curtains and blinds to block the sun when necessary.
